Inhouse Surgical Infection Control Workshop

Description:
Are you AHPRA Compliant? Let’s work together for a positive result for your practice, we have branches and run courses Australia-wide.
All courses are conducted on-site within your dental surgery / practice.
Do not miss this 2-hour training workshop opportunity for a professional yet fun and engaging learning experience to ensure aseptic technique when doing implants or a surgical procedure. You will be guided through the process during the training session.
In this workshop each participant will be given a surgical PPE kit (which the participant keeps) and are paired up to play both roles of a scout and scrub nurse. Informative presentation folders will also be given out on the day.
This course can also be run in conjunction with the Inhouse Infection Control Training.

Are you frustrated with untrained dental nurses?
We can help by training with everyday duties of a dental nurse.
This course is tailored to suite your dental practices needs.
Training could include but not limited to:
- Charting
- Changeovers – including wiping down and placing barriers and transporting instruments
- Reprocessing of reusable instruments
- PPE
- Documentation and recording in sterilisation log book
- Answering the phone
- Greeting patients
- Hand washing techniques
- Setting up for procedures
- Reporting to practice manager or dentist feedback on trainee
- Understanding of dental procedures Eg. Root canal treatment
- Start of day procedures
- End of day procedures
- Handouts will be given
- Homework will be given on the day
